The Writing Lab
Located on the 4th floor of Quai, AUP’s Writing Lab welcomes undergraduate and graduate students working on any writing project, at any part of the writing process. Made by reservation or walk-in, each 30-minute appointment allows students to work one-on-one with a tutor to strategize and refine.

Why choose the Writing Lab?
Every writer needs a reader, and AUP’s Writing Lab is here to support students—from first-years to final semester graduates—across the disciplines and at all stages of the writing process.
Tutors are available to listen, strategize, diagnose, and offer advice. They serve as sounding boards, careful readers, and thoughtful critics, and can help draw out already implicit ideas and possibilities. Their goal? To help students develop strategies that will encourage them to become astute readers and critics of their own work.
