TheĚýCenter for Writers & TranslatorsĚýhas as its mission the promotion of literary activity, especially where that relates to the practice of translation – translation taken in its broadest sense. The Center galvanizes the already active literary culture at AUP: through talks andĚýlectures withĚýinternational guests; through sponsorship of literary events across campus; and through its publication of the Cahiers Series.
The Center for Writers & TranslatorsĚýwelcomes writers and translators to Paris; sponsors and hosts readings, lectures, and debates, sometimes in association with the bookshop Shakespeare & Company. The Center's projects include the following:
