Pierre AndrĂ© was anĚýFNRS Postdoctoral FellowĚýat theĚýHoover chair of economic and social ethicsĚýat UCLouvain (Belgium) and a Field of Excellence Climate Change Postdoctoral Fellow at theĚýUniversity of GrazĚý(Austria). Prior to focusing on research and teaching, he had several work experiences in renewable energy finance and environmental policy analysis.

He is interested in environmental ethics, environmental political philosophy, and economic ethics. His research focuses onĚýclimate justice and the ethics of carbon taxation. His work appears in several peer-reviewed international journals such as Political Studies and the Journal of Applied Philosophy and he is the co-author,Ěýwith Axel Gosseries, of a book titled La justice climatique.
